Postcard from Laos

I noticed how the partial cleaning of DU (cf. “agent orange”) in Laos corresponds with the new Chinese bullet train. Chinese communist involvement in the cleaning of DU with moderately powerful magnets and construction of a train obviously powered with nuclear reactors powered with that DU. Seeing recent pictures from Laos I noticed a very thick sickle and hammer on red floating near their official flag (as the DU pollution had also receded except on high hills difficult to climb on). My opinion on Google Maps-censored uranium mines in Siberia listed in my “modern gulags” article has always been that Russia rented to China the land and that China brought laogai prisoners there.
