North Korea has made replying to depleted uranium weapons a core element of its defense policy and manifests through its speeches that clearly, but not only through speeches. They have recently achieved Lancet-like weapons that have an excellent level of cleanliness. I would like to remind that magnet cleaning plutonium is easy whereas collection of DU is very hard, requires a Fermionic condensator. Russian forces tell me the plutogenization rate is of 60% and they expect to reach 75% soon (in about 2 months, already done for the Lancet-like weapon above through the spinning motor). Since 2018, North Korea’s sodium-mash policy has evolved into a policy of clean weapons against DU weapons. They are now a power to be counted with. I believe in their sincerity when they say that clean plutonium of the highest quality, above 80%, is their aim.
